Former Tulsa Mayor

"I know what it takes to lead our city, and I’ve known the candidates in this race for years. When it comes to who will best serve Tulsa as our next mayor the choice is clear. Monroe has the energy, the ideas, and the experience to lead a coalition focused on creating economic opportunity for every Tulsa family."

Now a four-term legislator, he is an established leader in the Oklahoma House of Representatives and serves as the chair of the Oklahoma Legislative Black Caucus. During his career at the capitol, he has been a leading voice on education, healthcare, criminal justice reform, and economic growth.
